Health Issues
I am a cancer survivor
I understand the shock and fear that comes with an initial diagnosis. Some people go into depression, while others go into a fight or flight response and don’t process their emotions until later. A serious diagnosis impacts both the individual and their loved ones. I support clients in managing fear and uncertainty, communicating their needs, caring for themselves, and maintaining meaningful relationships through medical challenges.
As cancer treatment has evolved, more people are living with and beyond a cancer diagnosis. While this is hopeful, it often brings the challenge of learning how to live with uncertainty and the reality of having had cancer. Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I help clients manage anxiety and move forward in ways that support a fuller, more values-driven life.
