Family Therapy

Family dynamics can be complicated

Family therapy offers a supportive space for families to better understand one another and strengthen their relationships. Using an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach, I help families identify multigenerational patterns—ways of relating, coping, and communicating that are often passed down over time, frequently outside of awareness. Rather than assigning blame or focusing on one individual as the problem, ACT invites the family system to view behaviors and symptoms with acceptance, openness, and compassion. Together, family members learn to notice unhelpful patterns, make room for difficult emotions, and choose responses that align with shared values. Family therapy fosters psychological flexibility, deepens connection, and empowers families to break cycles that no longer serve them—allowing them to move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and intention.
